Air France and Transavia suspend flights to Beirut

Air France-KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, which is the parent company of Air France and the low-cost airline Transavia, announced that flights to and from Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, will be suspended until at least Tuesday due to “safety” concerns in the same region.
Two French airlines suspended operations on this route for the first time on Monday, the day after Israel promised retaliation in response to a rocket launch from Lebanon that killed 12 people in the Golan Heights under Israeli occupation.
Flights to Tel Aviv in Israel continue as normalThen, a spokesperson said on Saturday.
