102559790 : Alibaba Group Holding Limited, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: BABA) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX: 9988 and 89988), has announced a two-part dividend for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024. The dividend includes an annual regular cash dividend of US$0.125 per ordinary share or US$1.00 per American Depositary Share (ADS), and a one-time extraordinary cash dividend of US$0.0825 per ordinary share or US$0.66 per ADS, resulting from the disposition of certain financial investments. The record date for the dividend is set for June 13, 2024, with the payment date expected to be on or around July 3, 2024, for ordinary shares and July 12, 2024, for ADSs. Alibaba has specified that holders of ordinary shares through CCASS or registered on the company's share registers need not take any action, while others must submit valid transfer documents by June 13, 2024. The company's depositary bank will suspend conversions between ordinary shares and ADSs from June 10 to June 13, 2024, to determine entitled shareholders. Trading on both stock exchanges will continue unaffected during this period.
