Alibaba Cloud Launches OBS Cloud 3.0 for Paris 2024 Olympics

Alibaba Cloud has teamed up with Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to introduce OBS Cloud 3.0 for the Paris 2024 Olympics. This marks the first time that “Olympics Live Cloud” will replace satellite transmission as the main method for remote distribution of media content.

Approximately two-thirds of the remote services booked for the Paris Olympics, involving 54 broadcasters, are already utilizing Olympics Live Cloud.

This innovative approach aims to enhance efficiency and reduce costs for media distribution during the Olympics.
