VineetKumarGupta : Nothing comes free. Such funds have a high annual fund management charges. Also, there is lock in period. Overall, returns will be much lower. Always check XIRR returns before making any investment decisions.
103076610 VineetKumarGupta : hi Kumar...may I know what's XIRR stands for?
VineetKumarGupta 103076610 : XIRR is extended rate of return. It’s used to calculate rate of return when cash flow are irregular I.e. not having same date / period. Excel has built in function for it.
103076610 VineetKumarGupta : interesting... I wish I could learn its cash flow thru Excel... appreciate your sharing
VineetKumarGupta 103076610 : Pretty easy to use this function. If you need help, let me know.
103076610 VineetKumarGupta : if refer to XIRR function... it's calculate (V1:Vn, D1:Dn) to guess the future value... hahaha...but it's quite difficult to get realistic return... it's nice to do simple calculation with this Microsoft function
VineetKumarGupta 103076610 : Nope. The function tells current rate of return considering total investments and dividends received.
I can share it with example for better understanding later.
103076610 VineetKumarGupta : I C...I found similar videos in YT regarding this function to calculate the cash flow and bank loans... it's quite good to do simple financial analysis
VineetKumarGupta 103076610 : Yes. That’s correct. It’s the best way to calculate rate of return, effective rate of interest on loans etc.
