  • 我也暗示 : I'm pretty optimistic about TSMC in the second half of the year, or I'm optimistic about him for the long term. Anyway, it's all in line with the market's AI acceleration and chip demand. Although it is not one of the top seven stocks, the trend is not weak

  • NVDAvsTSLA OP 我也暗示 : TSMC is a good stock, but now it's too expensive, and there are geopolitical risks. Peers Samsung and Intel may catch up one day, but now the mainland is still frantically spending money to create a new foundry process.

Regarding AI, currently almost 99% of companies have not converted their early investment into productivity. How much they can continue to invest and how much spare money they can spend is directly related to how many chips they can sell and how many chips they can make, which is also related to how much growth rate TSMC can have

  • 我也暗示 NVDAvsTSLA OP : The AI technology closest to our daily lives is probably the Tesla driverless car that hasn't been operated for a year, which is a minor epoch-making point.

  • MomentumPython1337 NVDAvsTSLA OP : what's your definition of expensive? TSM PEG ratio is only around 1.1x-1.2x based on previous revenue  CAGR estimates - probably even lower now with revenue growth upgrades across the board.

for context you have crap like TSLA with PEG ratio of 8x and it's still going up

insiders in semiconductor industry tell me of strong robust demand for NVDA's blackwell chips.

even if you remove NVDA from the equation there are many other customers of TSM for various products.
