MuscMoo : I registered with all three credit bureaus to lock my credit after my name appeared out there on something. now I get the benefit of having them email me three times a day with various "offers" almost as generous as what you're getting. not only do the credit bureaus not protect your credit information, they don't monitor it. And when you take the one step you can, then they try to sell you a bunch of garbage.
