Warren E Buffett : Well within the purview of the SEC to suspend trading here. Meme stocks are nothing but pump and dumps. They are dangerous to retail investors, who like yourselves have lost tons of money holding bags.
The SEC act to protect retail investors in the market as a whole and provide stability so we don’t have a repeat of black Tuesday in 1929 when the market irrationally broke down.
