AMD CFO: AI going end-side is the future, MI300 revenues to reach $3.5 billion by 2024
AMD in this AI chip boom all the way to run wild, Wall Street is still with unprecedented enthusiasm for the "Nvidia's strongest challenger" to buy. March 6, AMD closed up nearly 2.7% again to refresh this week's record highs, so far this year, AMD's rise of nearly 52%, a year of the rise is up to 156%.
Market research organization Jon Peddie Research ( JPR ) in the report straight, in the fourth quarter of 2023, AMD stole Nvidia's discrete graphics card market share, market share rose 2 percentage points to 19%, discrete graphics card shipments increased by 17%, year-on-year jumped 117%.
