Arthur Yu Chen, the Chief Financial Officer of Futu, added the following: "To celebrate the 5th anniversary of our listing on Nasdaq, the Board of Directors has announced that a special cash dividend of $0.25 per ordinary share or $2 per American Depositary Share (ADS) in U.S. dollars will be paid to nominal ordinary and ADS holders at the close of business on December 6, 2024. The total amount of the special cash dividend to be paid is approximately 0.28 billion U.S. dollars, which will be funded from Futu's surplus cash on the balance sheet."
