Angle: A popular investment in gold among young people, the “golden rule” taught by experts

What are popular investment targets for millennials in their late 20s to early 40s and Gen Z born in the mid-1990s or later? Surprisingly, it's gold.
According to a recent Bank of America Private Bank survey, 45% of wealthy investors under the age of 43 own physical gold assets, and 45% are interested in investing in gold. This percentage is higher than other age groups.
Even in a State Street survey, the ratio of money in the millennial generation's investment portfolio is 17%, the largest in all generations, far exceeding 10% of the baby boomers and generation X.
