Announcing the 2023 Moomoo SG Fund House of the Year winners

Announcing the 2023 Moomoo SG Fund House of the Year winners
Hi, mooers!
How time flies! Moomoo SG's wealth management has been a part of our journey for over two years now.
This year, we've enriched our partnership with diverse fund houses. To add to that, we're excited about our new Funds Talk column, which brings insights from four different fund houses on a range of subjects, including brand culture and investment strategies. This column offers mooers a direct line to these funds for a deeper dive into their philosophies. Which Funds Talk session left the biggest impression on you? What investment insights have you picked up?
Tap the links below to revisit the Funds Talk sessions! >>
Additionally, we had the pleasure of welcoming investment experts from prominent fund houses to our webinars on fund investment conferences. They brought their latest insights on the day's top investment topics, including the much-discussed US equity landscape, fast-growing emerging markets, and the tech sector that's on everyone's radar. Which live session did you attend? Which fund house provided insights that you found especially helpful? What are the investment topics you're looking forward to learning about in the upcoming quarter?
In 2023, our efforts didn't stop at fortifying ties with our existing partners; we also brought Aviva, GMO, and Maybank into the Moomoo Fund Hub. These fund houses not only provided mooers with more diversified financial products but also introduced new viewpoints to the community.

In recognition of the exceptional teamwork and valuable insights contributed by our partners, we've performed a comprehensive evaluation using criteria such as the productivity of our collaborations, institution account management, number of partnerships, and the impact of our joint content. We're proud to celebrate 10 distinguished fund houses as our "2023 Moomoo SG Fund House of the Year" winners!
Ready to see who won? Let's take a look!

  • mr_cashcow : Congrats to all winners!

    1. Yes as expected Fullerton fund management is up on the list alongside CSOP which are both my top choices[undefined]
    2. Fullerton Fund live Q&A, always good to learn about who are managing our money and also good to know the fund manager is a fellow foodie too! Also during moofest2023, I get to meet the people behind the various fund houses and even received many door gifts![undefined]
    3. I have learned a lot and the key takeaway is to diversify your funds![undefined]
    4. I am hoping moomoo can collaborate with Lionglobal and bring over some of their many funds and also shorten their fund settlement days[undefined]

  • stevenlsf1 : 1. Did our list of winners meet your expectations? Which fund company is your first choice?
    Fullerton Fund
    2. Which fund company events have you participated in or followed this year? Which one stands out to you?
    Fullerton
    CSOP
    Uob asset

  • quekky : Congrats to all the 10 fund houses!

$LionGlobal SGD Enhanced Liquidity Fund (SG9999019293.MF)$ had been the place where I place short term savings, and it had been giving higher returns compared to bank interest rates. Fullerton had just released $LionGlobal SGD Enhanced Liquidity Fund (SG9999019293.MF)$ which I hope it will perform just as good.

  • ZnWC : Congratulations to all Fund House of the Year winners [undefined][undefined]

    1. Is our winner list what you anticipated? Which fund house is your top choice?

My top choices are Fullerton, CSOP and BNP. I invested in the fund products rolled out by the Fund House.

    2. Which fund house events did you attend or follow this year? Which stood out to you?
    3. What investing insights have you picked up? Which insight impacted you most?

I participated in the following talks:
Funds Talk 03: Pursue investing excellence with UOB Asset Management
Funds Talk 04: Why CSOP can be considered as a safe haven for investors?
The talks broaden my perspective about investing and the risk behind them. It is important to know that some funds are for long term (like 1-3 years) and learning to choose a suitable one for your needs is critical. Before investing in one do compare the fee and opportunity cost to other securities like stocks and ETFs.

    4. Which fund houses would you like to see Moomoo work with? What offerings do you expect from them?

l would like to thank Moomoo in organising webinars to explain the various types of fund investment. Last my expectation in 2024 is for Moomoo to invite Fund House financial advisors to talk about the outlook for fund investment in 2024 and what strategies we should take amid the cooling of inflation, likelihood of Fed cutting rate, China pumping money into its economy and the rise of digital currency.

My fund investment performance in 2023

  • cola1010 : Congratulations!! [undefined][undefined]

    1) Yes, I've invested in the Fund House's fund, and both CSOP and Fullerton are at the top of my list. CSOP Asset Management focuses on new investments, whereas Fullerton Fund Management offers a wide range of global strategies. I think choosing between fund house is determined by your investing objectives, the specific funds they offer, and their track record of performance.

    2) I had the chance to join in multiple fund events this year, such as the Fullerton Fund live Q&A sessions 'Embracing the Storm - 2024 Opportunities' and 'Investing in 2024 - Are we truly at a turning point?' Additionally, I engaged in Funds Talk sessions like 'Why CSOP can be considered as a safe haven for investors.' I particularly enjoyed the Q&A session and quiz, especially with the point reward for fast finger and accurate answers – it added an exciting element to the events.

    3) In the fund talks, I learned several valuable investing insights. Diversification was one of the insight, which was about spreading out the investments to reduce risk. It means investing money in various assets such as stocks, bonds, or other investments such that if one performs poorly, the others can balance it out. This can help protect against large losses if a single investment fails. It's also important to determine how long I want to invest for and to conduct thorough research before putting money into anything. Keeping up with what's happening in the market is also significant to make smart investment choices.

    4) I hope Moomoo could hold webinars explaining various fund investments with fund houses like Vanguard, BlackRock, or Fidelity. These fund houses provide several funds and have skilled consultants who can assist us in dealing with market fluctuations. I hope that these collaborations will provide diverse funds suitable for various economic situations, expert advise on changing investment strategies, and possibly new products that meet current market trends.

  • NoMansLand : Top safe fund $BNP Paribas USD Money Market (LU0012186622.MF)$
followed by moo moo house funds $CSOP USD Money Market Fund (SGXZ96797238.MF)$ and sgd money market

  • Ermmmmm : I personally still think that these funds charge to much for the management, yet they do not consistently beat some of the plain vanilla passive managed mutual etf funds available for retailers

  • Supermengg : 👍

  • Khin8858 : Frankly the only fund I have been using in moomoo are only the cash fund which is Fullerton and csop. I did not have good experience previously with funds as most of the time losing money cause of the admin fees and personally do not find why I should pay for the admin. Whereas the cash fund from my understanding is like a saving account. Guaranteed interest and capital. Do correct me asap if my understanding is wrong. Thanks in advance
