This marks the 4th consecutive rise in the stock.
Apple's stock price ended trading at a level 8.33 dollars lower than the 52-week high (199.62 dollars) the company recorded on December 14th.
On Thursday, the company's stock price outperformed that of its competitors, with Microsoft dropping by 3.38% to 414.67 dollars, Alphabet Inc. class C dropping by 2.16% to 173.56 dollars, and Alphabet Inc. class A dropping by 2.15% to 172.11 dollars.
