Apple has launched a foldable iPhone, and the 2026 release is still in sight

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) seems to be working on a foldable version of that iconic iPhone, and according to reports, they are considering releasing it as early as 2026.
According to The Information, Apple, which is headquartered in Cupertino, is in contact with an Asian supplier regarding parts for the new iPhone.
The foldable iPhone can be folded in the same way as the Samsung (OTCPK: SSNLF) Galaxy Z Flip, and it is said that it is codenamed V68 internally.
Considering the foldable design, an iPhone that is thinner than the current model is required.
The pursuit of foldable iPhones was first reported by Digitimes.
“According to Digitimes,” it was initially speculated that Apple would first launch a foldable iPad, determine market reaction, gain sales experience, and then introduce this technology to the iPhone, which is its main product. “However, due to issues that have arisen in the Chinese smartphone market, it is reported that there is a possibility that Apple will adjust its plans and announce the iPhone as the first foldable product.
Apple was up 1% by Tuesday's midday trading. The company is expected to announce financial results on August 1 next week, with sales of 84 billion70 million dollars and earnings per share of 1.33 dollars.

Personally, I saw that they would make another round in the semiconductor sector by the end of this month, but the pullback was too strong than expected due to the increase from the day before yesterday, so it's not possible to continue? I had doubts.
