According to Guo Ming, a supply chain analyst at Apple (AAPL), Apple plans to launch an upgraded Vision Pro headset in 2025, with an unannounced M5 chip.
The current Vision Pro, which starts at $3,499, is equipped with the 2022 M2 chip. Guo did not say whether there will be any new features or changes to the upgraded Vision Pro from the current model, saying Apple has delayed production of the cheaper version of the Vision Pro until “after 2027.”
