Apple resolves EU antitrust investigation over Tap & Pay technology

European Commission Executive Vice Chairman Margrethe Bestair announced that after years of investigation by the European Union (EU), Apple will allow third-party mobile wallets and payment service providers to access the contactless payment function of its iOS operating system.
