as a retiree ,my holiday plan is the opposite of those working. I go during off peak season where cost is cheaper. I like to go genting during weekdays where it is not only cheaper but what is more important is that there is no jam. instead of giving govt free 150 dlrs to enter casino in spore, I can have a 3days 2nite stay plus 3meals with that amt of money in genting msia.
