$ASML Holding(ASML.US)$ if it wipes out this entire year which looks like what's happening to all of the chip stocks it would put it 745 750... and we could be there today we could be there Monday until the FED comes out with a decision which somebody should smack them on the back of the head and go look man you see the stock market you see the unemployment rate today you see how much it increased we need to act today if they would act today you'll see 100% reversal and everything. so I'll throw this out there I think there's a pretty good chance that next week he's going to cut rates and you could buy The leverage cues way out of the money I call option for dirt cheap all you're doing is buying time there's no volatility premium in it because the market's getting spanked and you'll have probably a 30 to 40 times return your money if he cuts rates this coming week and you just go out to next Friday's expiration and I'm not saying this company I'm saying do the basket the tqqq or The leverage cues

  • Foodie Investor : Why would he cut rate next week? I thought september?

  • 10baggerbamm OP Foodie Investor : well I'll give you my opinion for what it's worth and I listen to a guy by the name of Steve Gleason who's an economist on TV he's a very very smart guy he doesn't believe there's any need for the FED to have intervening meeting and make a change but I'll tell you why I think he would and he should even though chairman Powell says he is non-partisan non-political he's a Democrat plain and simple and I believe that because the unemployment numbers shot up much higher than expected I think he's going to get a lot of pressure from people high up in the Democratic party it is a very easy marketing tool for president Trump to say you're destroying the economy look unemployment is at 4.3% it's skyrocketing month over month and by cutting rates it doesn't change unemployment immediately however it would impact the smaller businesses to the extent that if they can borrow money cheaper they can bring more people back to work or

  • 10baggerbamm OP : so I think it's highly probable that he's going to get a lot of pressure and if I'm right out of nowhere sometime next week they'll be we have a announcement from the Fed the FED cut quarter point. I just think that politically you don't want to have a rising unemployment rate in an election year because the other party Trump he's going to slam harris about it
