Aug P/L Challenge: How many trades have I made this month? Well, I made..

46 trades.

This is my 3rd month here, and here are the summary of my action in Aug:

1. Topping up certain symbols I thought was a good buy

2. Chopping off certain symbols I thought was  too small of a holdings and are not so good quality

3. Diversifying into ETFs

4. Entering new market (Singapore)

5. Buying some new symbols which I only recently noticed as high potential

In essence, what I was actually doing was to shape my portfolio according to my newfound insights. Prior to that,  I was practically starting from zero knowledge and have made many mistakes. So I consider my current portfolio 2.0 is much closer to my ideal, whole the 1.0 was a hot mess.

My portfolio is not set in stone, so my going forward actions for Aug are:

1. Expand holdings in Malaysian shares, REITs & ETFs before the market get really heated due to currency appreciation.

2. Expand holdings very selectively and carefully to some really high potential US shares and ETFs.

3. Expand holdings in Singapore dividend shares and ETFs for long-term stability

4. Learn, learn, learn.
