Australia denies visas to most Palestinians fleeing from Gaza
According to SBS News, the Australian government has rejected the majority of visa applications from Palestinians who have fled Gaza.
Since October last year, Australia has rejected 7,111 visa applications from Palestinians and granted 2,922 visas. Of these, about 1,300 people have settled in Australia, the broadcaster reported.
Meanwhile, Australia issued 8,746 visas and rejected 235 visas to Israelis during the same period.
