Australia near top of global paper-trading challenge
Australians are coming through in moomoo's global paper-trading challenge!
Last week — the first of the five-week challenge — we ranked second among the competing nations, with most of us (67.8%) recording positive gains. And only 0.2% below the leading nation, Japan, in profitability.
And the most traded securities in the competition so far? Nvidia, Tesla and Trump Media. Those last two stocks achieved very impressive gains this week, so it'll be fascinating to see how much entrants in the challenge are increasing their virtual holdings by.
We can take a peek at that, using the in-app challenge leaderboard.
As of Friday, October 25 at 2.45pm, the global leader had total gains of 705%. (The leading Australian was only at 82%. So, individually we may not be stand out traders, but combined, we're averaging brilliantly!)
We got more than three weeks left in the challenge, and every week there's US$20,000 in stock cash rewards to share. (That's US$100,000 over the whole trading challenge. Not to mention that same amount in our guessing game running alongside.)
