BABA's Hema & Disney China Form New Retail Cooperation
Hema (Freshippo), a subsidiary of $BABA-W (09988.HK)$ , entered into a new retail cooperation with Disney China, with plans to launch about 100 Disney-licensed merchandises in China this year.
Jiayu Zhao, head of merchandising of Hema, said the Company hopes to link Disney's popular animation IPs into its product R&D through its product creation. Currently, Hema has already launched 6 Disney-licensed merchandises.
