Baidu's shares in Hong Kong rose as much as 13% on Wednesday morning

With a triple transaction volume, as analysts released bullish views on the company's auto-driving business.
Guotai Junan analysts predict that as the deployment volume increases, the per-unit operating cost of autonomous vehicles will significantly decrease due to economies of scale. They expect Baidu's autonomous ride-hailing service, Apollo Go, to achieve break-even in Wuhan by the end of this year and to become profitable by 2025.
