digimonX : Unfortunately, there will always be people who post stuff that you mentioned. If we observe enough, we can tell those who missed the boat, sold too early & then praying for stock(s) to drop so they can get back in. If they are not interested in the stock(s), they will not even comment. The fact that they want to get back in means they know price(s) will go up again. So, the trend is positive.
Stock prices go up & down. Some days feel good while others are miserable. It is a fact of life. Those who are invested just need to ensure they have done enough due diligence & then hope stock prices go up over time. The time horizon needs to be long enough to really enjoy the benefit from investing. I have posted several replies to people not to gamble. If some of them have bought short expiry call options in late Dec, their options could expire worthless. I suspect 1 of them could be learning a hard lesson this week.
