Beware of strangers who actively offer investment advice!
Recently, I discovered that the community is posing as an expert and carrying out fraudulent activities under the pretext of providing investment advice. moomoo has always placed the safety of your funds as a top priority and has therefore implemented a series of strict security measures. At the same time, we are calling for constant vigilance against investment advice that has not been verified. If you suspect fraud, please give us feedback promptly. In today's special issue, we will introduce in detail the commonly used methods of fraud for everyone to identify investment fraud and avoid becoming a victim of fraud.
Type 1: Impersonating a false identity and inducing contact
Fraudsters pose as professional securities analysts or well-known investors and gradually build trust by claiming to provide free investment advice. They then use this trust to get investors to contact them and commit fraud.

Type 2: Send a message and direct them to another platform such as LINE
Fraudsters pretend to be “foreigners,” “women,” etc., and win everyone's trust by intentionally creating an image of being socially vulnerable or harmless. After that, communication is transferred to an external application such as LINE using phrases such as “there are a lot of messages here and it's inconvenient” and “let's talk on another app” as preparation for fraud.

Type 3: Group Chat Invitations
Fraudsters claim to invite users to so-called investment exchange groups and provide free information and advice. Within the group, scammers and their sakura promote fake investment stories and try to get users to follow their own investment instructions.
