Biden is “determined” to continue running for the presidential election

In a letter sent to members of the Democratic Party, US President Joe Biden insisted that “I will stay in this race until the end and firmly promise to defeat Donald Trump (who is the predecessor and presumed candidate of the Republican Party)” regarding this year's head of state election, and announced it on Monday.

“We are listening to people's concerns. I'm not blind to them,” Biden wrote. “I can say this clearly and unequivocally: to beat Donald Trump in 2024, I won't run again unless I absolutely believe I'm the best person... If I never believed I was the best person to beat Donald Trump in 2024, I wouldn't have run again.

Mr. Biden's letter was in response to his performance at the 1st debate session with Mr. Trump in response to voices concerned about his state of health and, in turn, his ability to run for election and resume the presidency.
