let it squeeze : I don't know a lot about it, but what I have found out is that the short interest and shares borrowed,  if I am understanding it right, are for the most part old information because it is updated every 2 weeks....that's probably what is going on.. with this.. later next week will probably be updated..

Kube let it squeeze : I've personally seen 0.55% pre split and 0.01% post split just earlier this week. Checking now, I see short interest at 6.70% so people have definitely been shorting this since the split happened though it's nowhere near enough for a short squeeze. But even that may be old data.
