$Bitcoin (BTC.CC)$ honestly think about this, why are they pushing the Bitcoin ETF's so much. You can purchase Bitcoin with no ETF. Yet the big names on the ETF's supply but why not just purchase Bitcoin

10baggerbamm : well you think too small and let me explain why you cannot buy Bitcoin hold it in a wallet in an IRA you cannot buy Bitcoin in a retirement plan through a company and hold it in a digital wallet next I never heard anybody that has forgotten the password logging into their brokerage firm interactive brokers or Schwab Fidelity pick one and lost all of their assets but that's what can happen and has happened to the tune of billions of dollars that are floating around because people have forgotten their digital wallet password and they're Bitcoin is gone forever unless they can somehow magically remember that password. you cannot borrow against Bitcoin in a digital wallet, but you can borrow against it in the form of margin at a brokerage firm through an ETF. do you want me to keep going because I've got a lot more reasons that it's far more advantageous to own it through an ETF or a leverage ETF then the token itself
Shootingstar : you have a point. even if you buy it on ETFs they have their own account and wallets stored on exchanges bought with customers funds. and in these exchanges anything can happen.

TechWhiz : I bought the etf too since I am just speculating on its price movement. Too scared to lose my password or recovery words. It is simply more convenient to buy the etf.
I will only buy btc directly if it can be used as money everywhere and is hassle free to do so. . Not right now.
