$Broadcom (AVGO.US)$ this will trade the same way Nvidia did post split you're going to see probably 2 weeks of flat to down because people are going to sell off a hundred shares 200 shares 300 shares to diversify or buy something because now they can sell a percentage whereas before it was representative of the whole share.

Chris gogo : It’s unlike Nvidia, the total shares even post split is much less than Nvidia, the pattern may be like what you said, may be not. I mean it could have more uncertainty.
10baggerbamm OP Chris gogo : it has nothing to do with the number of shares it has to do with the shareholders the institutional ownership and Ally have the ability to sell what was a full share but now is basically a fraction of it 1/10. it's pretty much happen the entire time in the past 8-9 months of big dollar companies that have split so it's going to happen again and that's why broadcom has been trading dead nuts flat because the institutions are selling out cuz they know post split it's going to drop

Chris gogo 10baggerbamm OP : This is what I’m concerned as well, I personally invest for long term, my guess is it won’t be so flat as Nvidia and it should drop, then it will settle for a while.

10baggerbamm OP Chris gogo : broadcom always had and always will be at lead for the next several years a company to own and put away and the hell with people that say it's overvalued they're not going to make the next quarter screw them because they've been wrong and the fact that the matter is 90% of money managers on TV telling people what to do their opinions these people cannot equal the S&P 500 so why the hell does anybody want to listen to them at this point
