$Riot Platforms (RIOT.US)$ is profitable. The company that writes its going out-of business holds shorts. so they drive it down. they just tried to buy another mining company and posted a profitable q1. oh and BTC is up, making them more profitable. what am I missing?

egan1 : the block rewards just got cut in 1/2, so its widely expected by shorts that they will not be able to stay profitable without a monster rally in btc.
152243478 : If only they ramp up the production by uping the hash rate then maybe but it takes time to expend hashes maybe up 2 hash every month
