Can AI bubbles pop? Nah,
There are a lot of people who say that the AI bubble will burst once and then cause full-scale innovation, but I don't really understand that.
If it's going to collapse due to financial instability or external macro factors, I know, but that doesn't mean it will collapse because it didn't meet the expectations of AI.
Well, if the AI bubble pops, then we're in a situation where investment in AI cannot be justified from a fundamental point of view, but I don't really know if everyone is investigating, but sales usually continue to double in half a year, and if we go this way, we can justify the investment.
Well then, if the AI bubble were to burst, what would it be like “AI scaling won't continue.”
Nevertheless, people advocating the bursting of the AI bubble insist that AI itself will progress, so they feel a contradiction they don't really understand.
If you insist on the bursting of the AI bubble, it implicitly assumes that “AI scaling will plateau somewhere in the short term,” and it doesn't make sense if you don't insist on that at the same time. If you insist on that, it makes sense.
