$CapitaLandInvest (9CI.SG)$ Sometimes when we see good news, we squeezed all the knowledge we have from business, finance and economics. Draw all the charts and lines everywhere. And we come to a conclusion that the stars have aligned for this stock
Re-enactment: I'm gonna press that button right now. Ok, I bought it. Few moments later, I realised the share price was either not moving or in fact it's going down. I bought some more. It's all right, I will average down the price.
Suddenly, articles of those "very insti people" are appearing to lower their price targets, citing reasons like: "I dreamt of black cats wearing cap walking in ta land last night".
Oh no, I'm getting scared, should I sell? I kept looking at the screen, the price dropped drastically. Never mind, just sell first. Clicked the button. Lost it.
Not long after, another wave of "very insti people" appear and said: "I dreamt of golden dragons hovering above the tower", "I see a phoenix wearing a cap, rise from ta land".
Question: What do you think these "very insti people" are doing right after they published the articles?
1) Start to plot 10 different charts and lines to submit so that they can knock off on time.
2) Selling shares slowly, in an orderly manner so that everyone gets a chance to sell at a higher price. You care for me, I care for you.
3) Nothing, sit around, chit chat, see what happens and wait for lunch.
4) Already sold the shares before publishing the articles, waiting for "not important people" to finish selling.
This is an re-enactment of past experience. And the thoughts are purely based on my personal opinion. Everyone needs to earn a living, somehow....人在江湖,身不由己。
