Reaction to 2 rate cuts in year 2025 is causing the reits and stocks to drop today. The drop has factored in for next year rate cut. There is no reason for them to continue dropping unless Trump causes high inflation next year and forces FED to raise rate. Then that is a different scenario from rate cut cycle.
