Cash Plus MMF Noob
I subscribed to the $Maybank Retail Money Market-I Fund (MYU0100A2266.MF)$ (MMF) offered by Moomoo Cash Plus. Mainly cause I wanted to redeem the RM10 voucher. Hey it's more free goodies from Moomoo, I'll take it! ![]()
Here's a snapshot of what Cash Plus offers:
1. Daily returns: The daily rate fluctuates a little but averages around 3.5%. This is slightly better than TnG Go+, GXBank or Versa. Granted those are a little more liquid. The daily returns adds up over the weekend so you'll see a little extra on Monday.![]()
2. Ultra-low threshold: Dive in with as little as RM0.01 without any cap. Although, to be eligible for the RM10 coupon redemption, I had to subscribe to the minimum RM5k requirement.![]()
3. Flexible redemption: I cashed out and in to test this and I could indeed use the money for other equities immediately after redemption. In literal seconds!![]()
4. 0 fees: Whatever you made is yours. No fees to cash out either. So wait a few days and I can buy fractional US stocks haha!![]()
