Cash Rich vs Asset Rich

When you unexpectedly turn from Asset Rich to Cash Rich.

The last time my options got assigned was for ITM Puts. Now its for my Covered Calls that got ITM. I’ve expected it to end higher and wanted ti take profits. thats how i got from Asset rich to Cash rich.

Covered Calls: $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ Bullish trend, taking profits and benefits of higher stike price to reap profits.

At times it may be advantageous to be asset poor Cash rich, especially when your bearish. Being cash rich would mean once prices slides and rebounds, you can enter again at a more favourable point.

I’m tempted to hold more $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ when it dips.
