China’s Ministry of Commerce responds to Canada’s planned additional tariffs on certain Chinese products

In response to Canada’s proposal to impose additional tariffs on Chinese batteries and other products, a spokesperson from China’s Ministry of Commerce stated, "China urges Canada to respect the facts, abide by WTO rules, and not make repeated mistakes." The Ministry will closely monitor Canada's follow-up actions and take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
