$Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG.US)$ I watch this yesterday and it was up $5 $6 and I just took a glance at it and it's in the red doesn't really make much sense to me because if the consumers don't have the money to spend at McDonald's at Domino's they're not going to spend at Chipotle I don't care what the CEO says

thoughtful Bat_8163 8888-8888 : It is a restaurant chain, like Macdonald, it is expected to have people eating there. The problem is the high expectation, which is even higher than most the big tech companies!
10baggerbamm OP thoughtful Bat_8163 : it's also people substitute, so even if they go they may skip an app and just order a meal so avg ticket sales and profits per seating are down.
73372627 : Somebody, somewhere made accumulations. So they want to eliminate as much possible the retail investors. whatch the volume of shorts and you understand why.
Then: in the restaurants CMG have the best results and was over the expectations. The CEO remarks about margins, was well missunderstood. It is the only one in this industry to use margins for development. And this it is important for the trafic parrameters.
Other point it is not to expect contrary for now after a very big split. And do not forgot it is a company which like to beat the expectations and also this time done and IMHO has an record of 79% of the time.
