COE below S$20k, would you buy a car in Singapore?

Some Mooers are forced to buy a car due to their work requirement or work location, ![]()
while other Mooers may have the choice to take public transport to work if their workplaces are easily accessible to public transport.
Having a car is ![]()
undoubtedly convenient for Mooers since it eliminates the need to wait ![]()
more than eight minutes (https://www.statista.com/statistics/1232840/singapore-average-waiting-time-during-commute-trip/) for public transport or ![]()
deal with bunching, which occurs when two or more of the same service number arrive at the same time.
If given the option, would Mooers buy a car if the COE dropped below S$20k, as it did from 2006 to 2009? ![]()
