Column: Is Trump's review of EV promotion measures a tailwind for Tesla

Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesla, a major US electric vehicle (EV) company, got a powerful card called “Donald Trump.”
Mr. Musk supported the Republican candidate Mr. Trump in the US presidential election. Mr. Trump has promised that if he wins the election, he will end the policy that effectively makes the spread of EVs promoted by the current Biden administration an end, and this pledge may be a headwind for the EV industry. However, the actual impact isn't that big. The impact of the decision to reduce support for EV manufacturers is greater for competitors than Tesla. If Tesla can maintain its superior position in the EV market, I think the positive effect will be greater than the negative impact for Mr. Musk.

sabuzero : I don't think Mr. Trump will support useless EVs. It would be fatal to think that the policy was changed by donating money.
