Concentrix Corp. Stock Sinks 10%+ After Hours on Fiscal Q3 Earnings Miss
$Concentrix (CNXC.US)$ sank more than 10% after hours Wednesday after the customer-experience-technology firm missed analyst estimates for its fiscal Q3 earnings.
CNXC fell 13.5% to $55.01 shortly before 4:45 p.m. ET after the firm said it earned $2.87 a share on a non-GAAP basis in the three months ended Aug. 31, trailing the $2.93 that published reports showed analysts' consensus forecast had called for.
The company also rang up $2.387 billion in revenues, slightly beating the $2.382 billion that analysts had reportedly expected.
Concentrix President and CEO Chris Caldwell said in a statement releasing the numbers that "our Q3 marked another quarter of solid revenue growth and operating results."
As for the current quarter, the company forecast $2.90-$3.16 in adjusted earnings per share on $2.42 billion-$2.47 billion in revenues for its fiscal Q4. That trailed the $3.48 in non-GAAP earnings per share that analysts had reportedly expected, but roughly tracked with analysts' reported $2.46 billion revenue forecast.
For the fiscal year as a whole, CNXC guided adjusted EPS to $11.05-$11.31 on $9.591 billion-$9.641 billion of revenues.
