Covered Calls = HEAVEN
$Moderna(MRNA.US$ I really dont understand why many Shareholders do not “Hedge” at all??
Dont you like making money? Dont you want to protect your Investment (Portfolio)?? Dont you want to make Large amounts of Cash no matter which direction the stock is going!
You could have sold (10) Contracts of the 8/18 $125 Calls last week for $845 each and collected $8,450 TOTAL( in Premium). If you are smart you would purchase them back today at $5 each ($50 Total). You made $8,400 in Profit in just the last week without spending a Penny or losing a Share!
Why would you take the chance and have these Calls rise in Value since they don’t expire for another 9 days?? Get that Profit!!
Also………. making up to 2,000% Profit in just a few hours is why we Trade Options. On 8/04, noticing that the price was gonna drop, you could have Sold some Cov. Calls for quick money and you could have also purchased some Puts and/or Put Debit Spreads as well. Purchasing (10) Contracts of the 8/11 $100 Puts for $15 each ($150 Total) late Friday afternoon and then sold the majority or ALL of them for $300 each $3,000 Total.
A nice 7-8 Trading Days Profiting $11,000 easily and at the bare mininum! Im sure most got into many other types of Trades with MRNA and made $50K - $100K within the last few days!
