$CrowdStrike (CRWD.US)$ This is really understating how bad it was. There are two giant issues that came out of this incident that I think will permanently and severely harm the company:
1. The outage was enormous in scale and harmed customers' physical machines. Even after crowdstrike "fixed" the issue their customers were still spending hours or even days to recover. This is REALLY bad for software that's supposed to protect your IT infrastructure, not destroy it. Their customers also include a lot of large corporations that lost a lot of money because of this. I wouldn't be surprised if some sued for huge sums, and I'll be shocked if many of their customers dont switch to alternatives.
2. The even bigger issue is that this debacle happened because Crowdstrike didn't have any testing or release plans in place. The changes they announced they'll make to their testing and release process are good but also basic, standard procedure for any software company. The fact they weren't doing that already is a damning indictment of how the company is run. Again, this is going to make their current customers strongly reconsider continuing to use their services and will definitely discourage new customers.

Rusty Shackleford 1 Ken Griffin Charity : Yeah, it would be very, very, very hard to prove that Crowdstrike was negligent. That is probably the only way that something would happen. Better chance of AMC reaching 100 a share
