Crowdstrike dominance in Cybersecurity

CRWD maybe a leader in the EDR and NGAV space, however after this incident, would their customers still be retained? CRWD offers their solution as a SaaS model and license wise is based on per device model if i recall correctly, similar to that of O365.
Personally, I do feel that many see it as the oversight, due to internal technical (their content validator) and process issues.. however i do see that the problem is that the lack of control to be given to customers to manage patches.
Typically even Microsoft give customers control to manage their updates of Windows. For SaaS solutions, end clients connect to SaaS services are typically manage by end customers.
However, i think many investors are not aware that CRWD top tier license comes with Cyber Insurance. If our machines using CRWD is compromised or hacked, CRWD will pay a certain amount for the damage suffered by the Cybersecurity breach. No other competitor products so far that I am aware of is offering this. I maybe wrong as I have not been looking the market competiton products in this space.
In my own opinion, CRWD needs to develope new functions and process to allow customers to control and manage updates. No more big bang pushes of updates to all their customers and let customer target which machines should be updated first, schedule when first group of update should be completed, etc…
Nevertheless, regardless how secure is a solution, if it creates an impact caused by the vendors actions, trust with the vendor is lost. In most Asian companies, they will uninstall it and live without it until their replacement product arrives.
PANW, Trellix, SentilOne, etc are products that customers may consider to replace CRWD… especially PANW which has their Unit 42, which gives excellent threat intelligence…
Now we are hearing reports of the estimated losses suffered by customers and this is phase 2.5 of selloff which i term myself.. personally i think CRWD may sit within 250 - 270 range over next few months until earnings.. earnings will be phase 3 which we will hear how much of the estimated sales quota has been hit by this fiasco  and many potential customers would have back out now… this can potentially pull it down further and break below 200… many things can happen over few months and no good news so far can overshadow this current bad news..
anyway these are iust my personal views and never meant to be financial advice.
