I believe more caution needs to be paid to the future of Quantum computing in disrupting Blockchain technology. however, I think that's quite distant into the future, but not too late to start thinking about.

cryptocurrency is a digital asset, created by this technology called Blockchain, which relies on strong (ideally unbreakable) encryption systems. but there have been risks of people hacking such systems successfully, causing cryptocurrency to just evaporate.
with quantum computing, in 5-10 years this Blockchain technology can be cracked very easily and all your money invested would likely just disappear.
