73226241 : I disagree. I invested out of necessity hoping to grow my small savings not out of greed. It was my very first time investing in stocks and I was not aware Pumping and Dumping was even possible. You are making gross generalizations.

73431864 : Greed is a natural part of human nature. It is what has brought us from hunter/gatherers to modern society. Greed is part of what causes human to want more and work for it. The trick is being aware of it and controlling it, which is a skill that can be developed. Have rules and stick to them. Be aware of your emotions and when the desire for more overrides your normal sensible thinking.
