Dazai Industry officially introduces Luckin Coffee to land in Malaysia.
Dazai Industry $HEXIND (0161.MY)$ Through its subsidiary Global Aroma Private Limited (GASB), it has reached a strategic cooperation with Luckin Coffee Holding Singapore Pte Ltd to introduce Luckin Coffee into the Malaysian market.
According to the cooperation agreement between GASB, GASB has the exclusive operational rights to open and operate Luckin Coffee brand coffee shops in Malaysia.
Dazhi Industries stated that collaborating with Luckin Coffee is a turning point for the company, allowing it to rapidly expand by leveraging one of the fastest-growing coffee brands in the world.
"This is also an important step forward for our company, benefiting from the enormous potential of the rapidly growing food and beverage market. We will open up new revenue sources and provide Malaysian consumers with a fresh and technology-driven coffee drinking experience.
Dato Wang Ziming, the major shareholder of Dazhi Industries and a well-known domestic investor, stated today in a press release that the company has ambitious plans for the development of Luckin Coffee in Malaysia, with eyes set on replicating the success of this brand's rapid expansion in other countries.
Expectations for strategic investment returns.
"The introduction of Luckin Coffee into the Malaysian market by Dazhi Industries is a strategic investment, and I am confident that this investment will bring excellent returns.
Luckin Coffee's Chairman and CEO, Guo Jinyi, also pointed out that through the collaboration with Dazhi Industries, introducing Luckin Coffee to Malaysia is an important step in the company's international expansion plan.
"Dazhi Industries' financial strength and management experience will help us develop the Malaysian market faster and more effectively."
GASB plans to open several luckin coffee stores in Malaysia by the end of the first quarter of 2025, but currently no further details are available.
luckin coffee from China, one of the fastest-growing coffee brands globally, currently operates 0.02 million1343 stores worldwide.
As early as June this year, there were market rumors that Wang Ziming's company would introduce luckin coffee, and it was not until over 5 months later that this potential cooperation finally materialized.
