Judging from what i have seen so far, ex-date for bonus date could be as short as 5 days from announcement date.
As such, today might be the last day to buy and be entitled for the bonus shares.

nicesunnyday OP soyabean89 : what I'm referring is that i have seen bonus share issue for SGX counters, where the ex-date was as close as 5 days from announcement date.
You can check up the corporate action page on SGX website for past reference.
nicesunnyday OP soyabean89 : I went to SGX website to search specifically for DBS. The previous 5 for 100 bonus issue in 1999.. ex- date was T+7 business days from announcement date. Im just stating a possibility, and dont want to rush in to compete queue when the ex-date is eventually announced.
