Deep Sea OP Beginner luck : The start of rate cut cycle will be bad for bank stocks. Their earnings will drop as NIM will drop. The main beneficiaries are property developers(Eg. City Dev, UOL etc) and REITS as their refinance costs will be lower. When rates are lower, it will spur demand for houses (private/HDB).
