Apr 10 21:00
Dear mooers,Sarge is back again to our live streaming event, where we'll be joined by Jerry Kronenberg, director of financial content at Moomoo Technologies Inc and Stephen “Sarge” Guilfoyle, a former New York Stock Exchange floor trader for Credit Suisse and others. This time, we’re going to focus as we move toward earnings season on trading options in and around a company’s earnings report.
We’ve all seen stock prices sometimes move dramatically up or down following a company’s earnings report. What can seem like a small EPS or revenue miss or beat compared to analysts’ forecasts or a change in forward guidance can send a stock soaring or tumbling. What might that mean for options traders? What are the potential pros and cons of trading options around a stock’s earnings report?
Let's find out in the live show together
You are welcome to ask any questions related to options trading. Stephen will address your inquiries during the live broadcast. Submit a complete question under this post and you’ll receive 100 Moo points, plus another 1,000 if we use your question on air.
