Defense Minister Gallant says war in Lebanon is “tough” and blames Hezbollah

Israel's Defense Minister Yoab Gallant argues in an Arabic post on his X account that Hezbollah is responsible for the current intensification of the conflict, which has driven the entire region to the brink of all-out war.

As Israeli fighter jets bomb all of southern Lebanon, Gallant said, “Israel is aiming for peace, prosperity, and stability on both sides of the northern border.”

“If Hezbollah continues to invade, Israel will be fighting a very tough war,” he wrote. “I want you to consider not embarking on any adventures”
