Delivery of the electric vehicle is expected to be reported on July 2. On Friday, Barclays analyst Dan Levy wrote that he expects to deliver 415,000 cars, down about 11% year over year.
This would be a terrible number for a few reasons. This will be the second consecutive year-on-year decline, even worse than the decline in the first quarter. Tesla delivered around 387,000 vehicles in the first quarter of 2024, a year-on-year decrease of nearly 9%. Levy's number is also much lower than the approximately 450,000 cars that FactSet tracks as agreed by Wall Street analysts. $Tesla(TSLA.US$
